Hey, I’m Angus.

I’m a full-stack engineer in Melbourne. For the last six years I was a senior engineer at Hipcamp. I shipped SEO landing pages, host tooling, internationalisation, and a pile of weird-and-fun one-offs (solar-eclipse maps, fall foliage, farm-camping filters). Before that I ran engineering at Youcamp through its acquisition into Hipcamp.

Right now I’m freelancing, taking on a small number of contract engagements a year. Mostly Rails, React, and the awkward bits in between.
